About

I am a PhD candidate in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Duke University's Brown Lab, advised by Kenneth R. Brown. I work on fault-tolerant quantum computing and quantum error correction, with interests in transversal gates, Floquet codes, and decoding for quantum LDPC codes.

Research

Transversal gates

How can quantum codes protect information while allowing logical operations? With Kenneth R. Brown, I constructed CSS codes that implement a logical CCZ gate through physical transversal T/T† gates, using projective geometry and SAT solvers. Paper · Code and data

Floquet and dynamical codes

I study how changing stabilizer measurements over time can protect quantum information. With Kenneth R. Brown, I designed a dynamical code from a minimally non-local hypergraph product code. I also develop software for constructing measurement schedules and identifying local detector relations. Presentations · Software

Decoding quantum LDPC codes

I study algorithms for recovering encoded quantum information from noisy error syndromes, with a focus on quantum LDPC codes and belief propagation. My work includes neural-network enhanced belief propagation and research on decoding during my Xanadu internship. Presentations
